The Security Council works sort of as the leaders of the Union but are a council of all nations who apply to become apart of it. The Security Council can veto applications for nations to join the Union with a 2/3 majority vote. This works by having a vote to make sure that the application wont offend any nations on the Council. If the application is not vetoed it is voted on by the General Assembly (see General Assembly page for more info). The Security Council can make new parts of the charter and new rules that are required to join. The Security Council also decides how to intervene in wars before it is sent to the G.A. for voting. they also deal with foreign affiliations. Members stay on the Council until they resign the G.A. takes a vote on it or the S.C. takes a vote on it. If any member nation would like to join the S.C. they just need to ask a member currently on it and they will be voted if they should or not
